At Basewell, we take this commitment seriously. Our goal is to deliver experiences that feel effortless, transparent, and purpose-built for the way teams actually work across every feature. Today, we're proud to build on this commitment through our new intelligence design system, rebuilt from the ground up to be as beautiful as it is effective.

Basewell Intelligence is the most used feature across our platform. Global teams rely on Basewell to stay in compliance with mission-critical regulatory queries, synthesize complex operational instructions, deliver world-class customer experiences, and more. Interface design is a core part of delivering contextualized, reliable, updated, and accessible information.

That customer trust is the foundation on which our new design system was built. Every interaction has been reimagined to reduce cognitive load while simultaneously increasing each user’s transparency and control. The result is an experience that gets out of your way when you need to execute quickly and provides depth when you need context.

Transparency in thought

For the first time, users can see exactly how Basewell Intelligence approaches each query through our new transparent thinking state feature. Rather than waiting for a final response, teams now have visibility into the retrieval and reasoning process as it happens. This transparency builds confidence in critical decisions, helps teams understand how conclusions are reached, and lays the foundation for future improvements around auditable thought processes.

Accessibility in voice

We noticed that forward-deployed and manufacturing teams had a unique problem: they required fast, accurate information, yet might not have their hands free. For that reason, we’re excited to launch the first version of voice dictation in Basewell Intelligence. Seamlessly integrating with our existing conversational interface, voice dictation allows teams to switch between voice and text input based on their current context and needs.

Clarity in structure

Responses in Basewell intelligence are complex, often combining structured data, unstructured summaries, code, and more. To accommodate this complexity, every element in Basewell Intelligence has been re-engineered to prioritize an action-oriented response posture.

This includes components like Code, which now render line numbers in addition to expanded language support for syntax highlighting. Additionally, Tables now support expanded column and row lengths, with intelligent overflow handling baked in. Even the most complex enterprise data structures are beautifully rendered.

Speed in filtering

We've fundamentally restructured how teams access and filter information sources. Filtering controls are now front-and-center, making it effortless to switch between internal workspace content and third-party integrations like Tripleseat when constructing queries.

Intelligence in context

Finally, our new intelligent naming system automatically updates conversation titles based on content and context, making it easier to return to previous discussions and maintain organizational knowledge over time. This seemingly small detail reflects our broader philosophy: intelligence should adapt to how teams work, not the other way around.

Excellence in details

No detail has been overlooked in this redesign. From entrance animations on user queries that gently focus to sophisticated height controls in voice dictation that modify based on the user’s volume. Every detail creates a sense of momentum and engagement.

Under the hood, hydration speeds and inference pipelines have all been improved, reducing even further our industry-leading time-to-insight for critical information. Each of these front and back-end improvements represent hundreds of engineering hours to build a defining user experience: intelligence that feels more personalized, powerful, and intuitive than ever.
